Our clients are a young professional couple, growing up in their forever home with their children The brief was to make a Modern home with plenty of pops of white, and to ensure that it was much more functional for this family to use every day – and into the future with forward thinking.

The renovations included the Laundry, the Main Bathroom and the Master Suite: Bedroom, Walk-in Robe and Master Ensuite.

Within the Laundry, the finishes are very Modern and with plenty of whites, the walnut timber was essential to warm up the spaces. The eyecatcher is the deep-sea green tile on the splashback with an astounding variation and undulated finish providing the lovely shimmer. The sink mixer and the handles are gunmetal, really centring the design and tying in the Modern aesthetic.

The Main Bathroom is a monochromatic magic with the terrazzo bringing all the WOW factor into this enlarged Bathroom space. The floor tiles as well as the shower and bath niches are thoroughly eye-catching. The wall tiles are an undulated, white, square subway tile with plenty of reflective tones. The tapware is brushed nickel, ushering in a very elegant finish. The timber vanity unit is the base for the beautiful Robert Gordon basins, which are art pieces themselves with a lovely mottled, stippled effects.

The Master Ensuite ties in wonderfully with the Main Bathroom of the home. In the Ensuite a darker terrazzo has been specified and utilised in the half-height wall within the shower recess, creating a lovely, long niche to put all your soaps and shampoos. A plain-faced ceramic tile covers the rest of the walls. The oak vanity is perfect for the Robert Gordon basin – yet another piece of art for the home. The brushed nickel tapware compliments the Modern aesthetic.

The Master Bedroom and Walk-in Robe are the perfect retreat. Making a grand entrance is the divine wallpaper, stealing the show. The black and white drawing is an art piece in and of itself. The light oak timber highlights warm and ground the space, which is a grey monochromatic dream. The soft grey walls sit perfectly in the background. The carpet is a beautiful loop-pile New Zealand wool carpet.

The Walk-in Robe has been fitted out with pull-down robe lifts and full height mirror.
