This family home, surrounded by native Australian bushland, has been stylised in the American Plantation aesthetic. Birdblack Design was engaged to redesign the entire Master Suite and the Main Bathroom. The Main Bathroom is for the teenage sons to utilise daily and for guests to enjoy when they come to visit.

To the Main Bathroom, we got rid of the unused spa in the corner, installing a beautiful, large round bath in its place. We created a larger Walk-in Shower than previously existed and much more storage in the vanity: deep drawers for towels and toiletries and customised arched mirror cabinets with power points inside. A floor to ceiling heated towel ladder was also installed, adding a sculptural effect.

Birdblack Design wanted this Bathroom to be masculine for the boys of the home, but also functional for the whole family to use, as well as welcomed guests. The materials include grey tiles with a charcoal feature tile and greys in the benchtop. The timber in the vanity warms the space and for a pop of colour, we specified a lovely wallpaper in the toilet room to add vibrancy and pick up on the American Plantation style that flows through the home.
