The grey palette communicates such an earthiness. This Main Bathroom is truly a sanctuary of relaxation. Our client is of Sri Lankan heritage, a wonderfully creative and eclectic character, ready to push the boundaries and have her Main Bathroom transformed into a Birdblack Design haven.

The custom vanity with grey concrete as the benchtop, sits to showcase the two natural stone basins which sit atop. These Jurassic Marble feature incredible veining and are truly pieces of art in the space. Brass accents, tapware and accessories POP against the greys, equally the white marble mixers for the hand basins and the shower heads act as jewellery for the design.

The tiles are paired back, utilising the same tile for both the floor and the walls. The porcelain mimics natural stone; the variation creating colour and patterns. The same tile is used in the bath ledge, but this time in a hand-snapped mosaic, adding a textural element.

The ledge is a framework to house the circular bath and in true Birdblack Design style – very practical for a glass of wine, book or candle for ultimate relaxation! Above the bath is a stunning double storey light-well with a brilliant shaft of natural light pouring through.

A full-height shower screen has been installed, complete with a brass overhead and rail shower. Recessing the LED strip light within the niche, provides a very soft glow, with a very functional space for your soaps, shampoos and conditioners.

The final feature is hidden away within the renovated Linen Cupboard: a chute to the Laundry on the lower floor of the home. Yes, we do think of everything!
