1. CREATIVE DIVERSITY WITHIN TEAM BD: Describe your favourite kind of style, detailing why you love it.

From Naomi:

I love a room that makes me feel like I have walked into somewhere I have not been before, but feels like it has a long and winding history. I love discovering new textures, new shapes and new perspectives. I love the Paramount House Hotel – they have transformed an old cinema complex in Surry Hills, Sydney, into an intimate hotel experience. Each room is uniquely dark and moody, and makes you want to cosy up, drink cocktails and watch movies all night.

My usual go-to aesthetic for everyday is filled with natural light, high ceilings and open spaces, natural timber, hand formed ceramics, flowing linens, handmade and eclectic objects, and a wood burning fireplace.

2. Fave BD project you have personally worked on and why.

From Naomi:

The indoor/outdoor connection of this design is what appeals to me about the ‘Sandy Foot Residence’. I love the way the homeowners’ personalities have been captured in each of the rooms and living zones – there’s a special feeling to each of the spaces. I really love that there is so much to look at and so many textures to take in.

3. Easter Holidays in 2022.

From Naomi:

As a family, we will be soaking up the last warm days before winter takes over by the pool with margarita in hand. Outside of the pool, we will be focusing on bike rides and bushwalks. Plenty of good food and good drinks and an abundance of family time sounds just right to me!
